Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its footprint in the southern region with the launch of new service facilities in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This strategic move is aimed at improving customer convenience and reinforcing the brand’s presence in two of the region’s most important metropolitan markets.
In Bengaluru, the company inaugurated a state-of-the-art 2S (Service and Spares) facility in partnership with Sundaram Motors. Located on the International Airport Road, the centre is built to Mercedes-Benz’s global retail standards. Spread across 47,000 square feet, with a built-up area of 23,000 square feet, the workshop houses ten service bays and is capable of servicing over 4,000 vehicles annually. Key features include the ‘Aero Hub’ and ‘Pit Stop’ concepts, digital interfaces for seamless service tracking, private consulting rooms, a dedicated handover area, and an on-site café. A 60 kW fast-charging station—open to all EV users—has also been installed, while dedicated Quick Body Repair Zones ensure select services are completed within three hours.
In Hyderabad, Mahavir Motors unveiled a new 2S facility in a prime residential zone near the city’s expanding IT corridor. Covering 39,000 square feet, it features 19 service bays with a monthly capacity of over 480 vehicles. The centre blends digital and physical touchpoints to enhance customer interaction and includes dedicated consulting zones, a vehicle handover area, and eco-friendly architectural elements.
The second Hyderabad facility, developed by Landmark Cars, spans 12,000 square feet and is equipped with six service bays. This centre specializes in body paint work and general servicing, offering private discussion rooms and dedicated Premier Express service bays for faster turnaround times.
With this expansion, Mercedes-Benz now operates in over 50 cities across India through more than 125 customer touchpoints. The new service centres are a part of the brand’s ‘Go to Customer’ initiative, aimed at bringing premium service experiences closer to customers in both established hubs and emerging markets.
Each facility has been designed to offer a personalized and premium experience, featuring warm-toned consulting areas with integrated media screens, private rooms for confidential consultations, boutique accessory outlets, and enclosed vehicle handover spaces equipped with digital briefings. Mercedes-Benz India emphasized that the new centres are a testament to the brand’s continued commitment to delivering top-tier after-sales support tailored to evolving customer expectations.
